Bravida in collaboration with Skanska when a new emergency room is built in Oslo

In the spring of 2020, Bravida Norway began a collaboration with Skanska for the construction of a new emergency room in Oslo. Bravida's assignment comprises all electrical installations in the new building at an order value of 228 MNOK.

In the 'Oslo Storbylegevakt' project, Bravida is responsible for all electrical installations in the new 26,722 sqm building at Aker Hospital, which also includes a parking garage of 6000 sqm. It is a complex project where great focus is placed on ensuring a secure power supply (Critical Power) around the clock without interruption. The client is Omsorgsbygg Oslo KF (Oslo municipality).

“This is a exciting project, and together we have found very good technical solutions for the new emergency room. We have a strong focus on cooperation with Skanska and other contractors”, says Arve Kristensen, project manager for electricity, Bravida Oslo.

The project is certified according to BREEAM Excellent, the second highest level in the sustainability assessment, which is used to certify the environmental performance of buildings.

The contract was signed on March 12, and Bravida's assignment is expected to be completed in March 2023.
